MOVE OUR BEE HIVES TO A WIDE RANGE OF DIFFERENT PLACES ALL OVER GREECE WITH THE AIM OF PRODUCING THE BEST AND GREATEST ADVANCE RARE VARIETIES OF HONEY.

Flowers Honey Delphi

The vast plain of olives with the sea shining in the background was dedicated to Apollo and is one of the most ancient beauties of Greece. The natural landscape from Arachova to Kirra, which joins the large olive grove of Amfissa and has at its center the sanctuaries of Apollo and Athena in Delphi and reaches the foot of Parnassos is known worldwide for the different rare vast of flowers and plants . In this sacred area of Greece part of Mouriki apiary produces a very aromatic honey variety from flowers and rare plants.

Red Fir Honey

Red fir honey is produced in the heart of summer in the wild, pure mountains of Giona and Vardousia in Central Greece, at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, in an area of rare, wild, virgin vegetation full of fir trees, in a wonderful Alpine landscape. Red fir honey has a thick texture, a rich, not strongly sweet taste and is one of the honeys with the highest antioxidant and nutrient content.

Fir Vanilla Honey

Ιn the wild mountains of Parnon in the Peloponnese, we produce every June the excellent quality Elatis Vanilla honey which is considered a rare honey of limited production due to the particularly difficult way of collecting it. Its velvety texture and soft taste, combined with its innumerable benefits for the human body, ranks it among the most famous honeys of Greek nature.

Milos Honey

On Milos, the island of Aphrodite and Kimolos, the island that took its name from the exceptional mineral wealth it has, we collect since November 2020 through the rare flora of the 2 islands a honey from Cycladic thyme & wild herbs such as lavender and oregano. The bright sun of Cyclades, the dry and arid soils and the geographical location of the island offer us a rare honey produced by the 200 bees of the Mourikis family in Milos and Kimolos. Our apiary was established on the island of Kimolos in November 2020. Depending on the season and flowering, bees are transferred to Milos or part of them remains in Kimolos. Milos Honey is offered in limited quantity and only in a paper package of 450gr.

Thyme Honey

In early July in Galaxidi, in a coastal “thyme place“ which is famous for its fine thymes, we collect and harvest an excellent aromatic and famous honey: the Thyme honey, maybe the most favorite and well-known kind of honey in Greece. Deservedly it is one of the first choices of consumers globally on the grounds that it is considered an excellent aromatic honey, with wonderful light amber colour and great dietary value .

Chestnut Honey

A kind of honey that is especially rare as far as its flavor and taste is concerned, connected with a unique quality is the Chestnut honey.
Its production requires the beehives to be moved to a natural beauty forest in Mount Athos (Halkidiki). Chestnut honey is full of amino acid, trace minerals, potassium and magnesium. It has dark brown colour and high dietary value for the human. They are available in a limited quantity.

Heather Honey

In autumn as well we produce in the area of Sithonia, Halkidiki the Riki, a rare honey with high dietary value, minerals, proteins, amino acids, very stimulating for the human body and with powerful antimicrobial properties. It has a special flavor as it is not sweet as the other honeys. Additionally, its texture is more solid.

Pine Honey

Every spring and autumn a great number of beehives (population of them) are transferred to Thasos in beautiful and virgin pine forest from where we collect the famous Pine Honey of Thasos one of the tastiest and greatest pine honeys which are produced in Greece. The pine honey has powerful antioxidants and antibacterial properties. Moreover it has rich flavor and colour. It is classified in the category of the highest quality standards kinds of honey which are produced in our country.

Oak Honey

In a protective area from (Natura 2000) in the area of Euritania, in a virgin forest full of oak trees, a part of our beehives is transferred in the middle of the summer with the purpose of producing the «Oak honey». It is a kind of honey with dark colour, with a special, rich and delicate flavor and great antioxidant properties. It is full of magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and iron. Even more, it helps to an effective function in heart metabolism.
