Description
In Ancient Greece it was called “oregano” from the words “oros” and “ganos”, meaning joy/splendour. Oregano were known to the Ancient Greeks, who used it extensively.
In Greek gastronomy, authentic oregano has a widespread place in the kitchen as, due to its aromas, it gives flavor and character to salads, meats, white cheeses, fish and stews.
